Types of TERIVA ceilings

  1. Assembly should be carried out as shown in a drawing (→↓). If there is no assembly direction indicated, then it should be started from doubled joist. If there is no double joists, assembly should be started from any load bearing wall that is parallel to joists..
  2. Joists should have at least 8-12 cm of support on top of a load bearing wall (depending from a length of a joist);
  3. End blocks or EPS blocks should be placed at the end of the joist.

  4. Use temporary supports. Temporary supports should be place at max 1.9m between them. Proper ground preparations should be made under temporary supports.

  5. Rest of the blocks should be assembled;
  6. Concrete ring beams (4Ø12, if not indicated differently) and load distribution beams (2Ø12), must be assembled;

  7. Joists, that are longer than 6,00m in length, has to have an additional L shaped 2Ø12 joist end reinforcement fixed to external side of concrete ring beam reinforcement ant top side of joist);

  8. To fully assemble TERIVA LIGHT (with EPS blocks), it has to have a 150×150 (Ø≥3,5) steel net through all area. It has to be raised no less than 1cm from blocks;

  9. Pour concrete (no less than C20/25, particle size 8/16, viscosity S3) all area (on top of joist, blocks, ring beams, load distribution beams, no less than 4cm thickness).

  10. While pouring concrete, it must be ensured, that concrete will not wall from high altitude. All concrete has to be spreader evenly throughout all area. Concrete has to be vibrated trough all is depth, to ensure that there would not be any air bubbles

  11. All relevant instructions must be followed while curing concrete.
  12. PTemporary supports can be removed when concrete reaches 80 of its desired strength. Usually, that strength is reached in 14 days, when ambient temperature is around +10° C. If ambient temperature is lower, concrete cures longer.
  13. TERIVA ceiling system should be assembled following given drawings and assembly instructions.
